Red para la investigación y el desarrollo de genealogías alternativas, perspectivas, narrativas y formas de conocer y preservar el patrimonio.

Colección de colecciones es un programa que aspira a la construcción de una red de colecciones ubicadas en diferentes ciudades de Sudamérica, conectadas a través de medios digitales. Este proyecto, cuyos fundamentos metodológicos se basan en la historia del arte, los estudios visuales y curatoriales, tiene como objetivo desarrollar nuevas y más amplias vías para facilitar y promover el acceso al patrimonio de las colecciones públicas de arte de América del Sur, facilitando así las oportunidades de intercambios locales e interregionales a largo plazo. Además, se nutre de la necesidad de actuar y promover ideas creativas para hacer frente a los desafíos impuestos por este escenario pandémico que ha potenciado los problemas estructurales que durante mucho tiempo han sido causa de restricción al acceso a las colecciones y archivos que necesitan los investigadores - especialmente en América del Sur - para sus investigaciones.

Network for the research and development of alternative genealogies, perspectives, narratives and ways to know and preserve patrimony.

This is a project that aims at the development of a network of collections located in different cities of South América, that will be connected and intertwined through digital means. This project, whose foundations rely on the methodologies of art history as well as visual and curatorial studies, has the aim at developing new and wider paths to facilitate and promote access to the patrimony of South American public art collections, thereby enhancing the opportunities for long-run local and interregional exchanges. In addition, this project is informed by the necessity to take action and promote creative ideas to cope with the challenges imposed by this pandemic scenario that has enhanced the structural problems that have long been the cause of restricting access to collections and archives needed by scholars - especially in South America - for their research.
